    Alex provides an overview of John Boyd’s OODA loop, explaining its origins, diving deep into the OODA loops component parts and discussing why the OODA loop is important to understanding competition and the competitive environment.  Once you’ve seen and begin to understand John Boyd’s OODA loop your understanding of the world will be fundamentally changed.

    Strategy and Competition-

    Alex offers a primer on strategy and competition.  Strategy is one of the most misused and misunderstood words in business.  Alex discusses what strategy is and how to develop strategy.  He discusses strategic planning, its value and limitations.  He also speaks to competition, and how to think about competing and winning.   

    From Marine Officer to Corporate Leader-

    Alex speaks about what it is like to serve a career in the Marine Corps and then transition to the commercial world.  While many Marines retire and work in the defense industry, Alex transitioned to Energy and Logistics.  Much of his experience as a Marine was transferable to the commercial world and much of it was not.  He compares the two environments and discusses what it takes to be successful in both.

    Alex will also draw from his lifetime of experience to build lectures for unique events and occasions.  His material is great for corporate events such as leadership offsites and corporate learning events.
